How long does it take to process my order?

Production time depends on several factors, including:

Generally, please allow 14 days for completion of your order, but we also offer a fast turnaround service when required. When applicable, pro forma payments and artwork approval can alter lead times.

For more information see 'How to Order'

How much do you charge for tooling?

No matter what size your labels are, we do not charge for tooling.

What is your minimum run?

Our minimum order value is usually £25.00.

Can you deliver under plain cover, or to other sites?

If you would like us to deliver to other sites then please mention this on your purchase order. We are also capable of delivering under plain cover.

Can I try samples before committing to order?

This is something that we encourage because it allows you to get an idea of the look and feel, as well as the functionality of the label. Sample strips of plain materials, and standard samples are supplied free of charge. If you wish to try samples of your finished label, then there will be a nominal charge for this service to cover the cost of setup and production.

I have items which require some form of labelling but I don’t know exactly what I need.

Our Sales Team are able to give advice and assistance. They will talk you through your requirement and come up with a cost-effective solution. Please call us on 02392 511234.

Which label material do you recommend for my requirement?

Our Sales Team will ask you a short series of questions to determine the most suitable material for your application. With over 500 materials on our database, we usually find one or more that will prove adequate. Please call us on 02392 511234.

My existing labels fail. Can you help?

We are always willing to provide solutions to any labelling headaches, including instances where you have bought labels from other suppliers which do not stand up to the rigours of the application. Our free sample service enables you to effectively ‘try before you buy’. You can request samples online or call our sales team on 02392 511234.

Can you supply labels for my printer?

Whether you use thermal, dot-matrix, laser, or inkjet printers, we have the facilities to provide your labels either pre printed with text and/or logos, or just blank. Simply tell us the make and model of printer and we'll do the rest.

You can request a quote online or call our sales team on 02392 511234.

Can you produce coloured labels?

Labels don't always need to be white! Some material types are available in a range of colours, and some can be colour-washed to achieve the right background colour. Ask our Sales Team for more details - 02392 511234.

To what format are the labels supplied?

Unless you specify otherwise, labels are normally supplied in roll form. Labels for laser or inkjets are sheeted and supplied in stacks. Dot-matrix labels are normally fan-folded sheets, supplied in stacks.

I already buy labels from elsewhere which work. Can you match the material?

You can send us samples of labels you already use and tell us the application environment. This will usually be sufficient to provide a match and enable us to quote. Ask our Sales Team for more details - 02392 511234.

I wish to secure a good price by ordering annually but can only budget on a monthly basis. How can we get around this?

By sending us a 'blanket' order which covers 1 year's usage, you can secure a better price for your labels. We will then hold stock and distribute the labels monthly according to your immediate requirements, and also invoice monthly. Our only condition is that all of the goods ordered are called off within one year.

Can I use the same label for other applications within our company?

The easiest way to answer this is to try it out. However, different applications will sometimes require different material types. For example, a high specification chemical resistant label would not be a cost effective solution to labelling short-term paper documents. Occasionally, it is possible for 'one label to suit all'.
